Private classes are conducted at a pace suitable to the client’s needs, abilities, and limitations. They can be a perfect setting to learn or refine a more advanced pose or aid in helping to resolve an injury or misalignment. Private classes are recommended for:
New to Yoga
Private classes are a wonderful place for people new to yoga to gain experience, enabling them t0 step into a group class with confidence and understanding of the terminology, postures, and alignments. It also gives the instructor a chance to evaluate the student’s strengths and what might be the best class to attend.

Injuries and Physical Limitations
Private Yoga Therapy classes are great for students with injuries or physical limitations who need more therapeutic alignments and support to perform the poses and to aid in healing.
These private sessions are a great support for helping conditions caused by:
- Injury
- Overuse
- Illness
- Surgery
- Chronic or Congenital issues
A typical class includes assessment, therapeutic yoga postures, and discussion and implementation of poses or exercises to be done between sessions. Depending on the needs of the client, the class may also include breath work, aromatherapy, restorative elements, Craniosacral Therapy, and deep relaxation.
Advanced Practice
Private classes are also great for students who have been practicing a while and want to master a particular pose or series of poses or move their practice to a more advanced level.
