Dancer, Mover, Yoga Teacher

Debra has been teaching in North County for nine years and is well respected and loved in the yoga community as a teacher with deep experience on many levels. Dancing from the age of 5, Debra has loved the art of movement and personal expression. She received her Bachelors Degree from UCLA and taught and performed in the Los Angeles area, Palm Springs, Tokyo, Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada, New Orleans, and has toured the nation. This was the expansive foundation for the yoga evolution to follow. Having met her meditation teacher in 1983, she began the dedicated study of hatha yoga, and over the course of years, she has taught all levels, from restorative to challenging classes, children and teens and prenatal. Her background in therapeutics is particularly powerful, allowing new opening and expression in those that practice with her. With enthusiasm and humor, she delivers fresh classes with an endearing humility. Her greatest joy is watching students “blossom” into strong full and beautiful potential.
